Hi, my name is Spike. My sister Maggie and I are really excited to tell you about our
journey through PRoNE and how grateful we are to be in our forever home.
We remember being loved at some point before passing through the hands of people
who thought we were an inconvenience (really, we're great dogs, mommy tells us so all
the time!). We had no soft beds (or leashes or collars so you know we weren't walked
either) and were confined to the kitchen. It made us very sad.
We want to offer our eternal love and thanks to PRoNE volunteers Kim and Mike who
were horrified to see us offered for free on Craiglist and rushed to welcome us into their
home with their pugs Bart and Sammy. They refused to split us up and loved us and
cared for us as if we were their own for the four months it took our new mommy to buy
a house just for us. Life is really good now, Maggie and I go to the dog park every
weekend and we get to play with Bart and Sammy and our cousin Fidget.
We're still settling in as I write this (aren't I talented?), but I know Maggie and I will be
with our mommy for the rest of our lives. Thanks PRoNE!
