ABBEY
March 2008
Miss Abbey is a sweet little gal you would call the "Olive Oil" of puggies. She was the runt of the
litter - but don't let that fool you!! She has the appetite of any other pug - her metabolism is just one
we wish we all had.

She LOVES kids and loves to cuddle even more. Although she does love kiddies - she would
probably do better in a home with either older children or no children, see Abby is 9 months old and
as any puppy would, she will eat ANYTHING she sets her eyes on that is edible, Abbey also has an
irritable bowel that can only tolerate her specific dry food, no wet food. She can do the average raw
hide, but not your every day treats. When she gets flares of IBS, she gets spoiled with chicken, rice,
eggs or boiled hamburger... it helps soothe the digestion & she is not the least bit upset by it. I cook
chicken and dry it out for treats.. She LOVES it and it doesn't upset her belly.

Abbey also will not share her food/bowl with any others so if you have other pets you may be better
to separate her during dinner, However, if their bowl is there for the picking  she doesn't hesitate to
help herself as she feels others are not so greedy!

She is such a sweety pie, loves to lay out in the sun, go for walks & plays well with other dogs and
cats. She is very protective of her home and has a large protective voice for such a little gal. I call
her Abbey pie because she is so sweet.
UPDATE:  After being posted on our website for a short time a perfect forever home
came along for Abbey.  She is now living happily with Tina in New Hampshire.
